I wanted to create a 'Fireworks' in music. An up and down, twist and turn, roller-coaster ride. A strong Blue base with color and action. I wanted, or want, to create a consistent driving force with dimension and depth in guitar composition.
My lyrics are simplistic, or, sometimes, metaphoric, or have a double meaning.
All true Blues lyrics are about the pit-falls of love and life; yet in some twisted way bring laughter from a sense of empathy. Put simply, KillJoy is: "Rock and Blues on steroids". Creating a new, perhaps inexplicable, sound in guitar compostition.
